Our interview process is designed to play to the strengths of our ideal candidate: we will ask you technical questions that require complex thought and ask you to talk us through your process as you work them out.
We are driven to seek deep understanding in all our endeavors as a company and want to find candidates who do the same.
We want you to be prepared and confident in each stage of the interview process so you are able to show us your best work, so we have explained it in detail here for you. Our interview process consists of six steps.
The assessment is multiple choice, and you will want to have paper and pencil or anything else you might need to work out your answers. There are 10 questions of varying difficulty and you will be given 25 minutes to complete the test.
Finally, please remember that our interviewer wants you to succeed and that talking with them and explaining your understanding of the problem as you go will give you the best possible chance of success.
Once you've passed the first interview, you will be asked to schedule a second interview with us. The second interview follows the same format as the first, but you will have a different interviewer and a new set of questions. All the information given for the first interview applies to the second, and please be sure to share your thought process with your interviewer as you go.
Next, you will be asked to interview with 2-3 other members of the company. This interview is a typical personnel interview and you will not be asked to solve the type of technical problems you worked on in the first two rounds. This is a chance for members of the company to get to know you a little and to ask you about your professional and academic experiences and qualifications along with some general knowledge concepts. This is also an opportunity for you to ask us any questions you might have about the company.
The final stage of interviews is conducted by our founder. This interview uses the same format as the first two technical interviews. This is a chance for you and the founder to get to know one another and get a sense of whether we are a good fit for you.
